Introduction
Rona has worked in Cultural Resource Management in Hawai‘i, Guam, and the Pacific-Asia region for over 35 years. She has directed or participated in over 90 burial projects (conducting positive identifications, burial recovery, inventory, and/or analysis of human skeletal remains) and over 75 archaeology projects in the Pacific Islands, Southeast Asia, and Ecuador.
Research
Her research interests include human skeletal biology, indicators of stress, paleopathology, health and social status, biocultural adaptations, cultural dental modification, and heritable variation.
